Dr. Gayle Dean is an experienced, board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist who approaches her patients with care, support and integrity. "I want to put them at ease and let them know they can be their true self", she says. "I am honest, try to show gratitude and kindness and let everyone know I value them and seek to spread joy. The opportunity to be a part of my patients’ lives and part of their health care team is a true honor and privilege." For as long as she could remember, Dr. Dean has been inspired to pursue medicine. "Since second grade, I felt like it was my calling and never considered anything else. I pursued it with my parents’ support and encouragement, and my extended family cheering me on to become the first doctor in the family." Dr. Dean is originally from Maumee, Ohio, before coming to sunny Tucson. She earned her biology degree at The University of Toledo and completed medical school at The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, followed by a residency in OB-GYN at Saint Louis University. Outside of work, she enjoys morning walks, interior decorating and encouraging others to reach their potential.
