Care at TMC Rincon Birthing Center includes
- Level 1 beautiful birthing unit, six spacious rooms - LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery and Postpartum)
- Family and patient stay in one room from admission to discharge
- Caring for deliveries of ≥ 35 weeks gestation, healthy pregnancy, low to moderate risk obstetrical conditions, including cesarean delivery with basic and transitional newborn care
- Three-bed Obstetrical Triage
- Private rooms with amazing views of Santa Catalina and Rincon mountains
- Outpatient fetal monitoring available within hospital
- 24/7 Obstetric anesthesiology
- 24/7 Obstetrical care
- Advanced-practice newborn care (NNPs, NCNSs) readily available
- Highly trained and experienced nursing staff
- Lactation support and referral services
- Preparation for childbirth and breastfeeding classes, with additional classes coming soon!
- Breastfeeding and Postpartum Support groups
- Closed/secure unit - top floor unit with latest electronic newborn security system
